ACT Companion Dog Club

Membership

Club membership is open to anyone over 11 years of age. Each membership covers a whole family, whether that is one or many people. All those listed on the family's application form and over 16 years of age will be eligible to vote at Club elections.

Payment:

When joining or renewing your membership, we offer 3 payment methods:

1. By Direct Credit to our bank account Account Name: ACT Companion Dog Club, BSB 032-729 Account: 235628  Please reference your surname and phone number then email/post/bring this completed form to the Club with a copy of your dog’s vaccination certificate(s).

   NB: If your payment doesn’t reference your surname and phone number,we may have difficulty in tracking your payment. Please keep a copy of your transaction receipt in case of difficulties.

2. In cash brought in to the club. (Office hours 10am – 1pm Mon – Fri + during Obedience training hours)
3. By cheque made out to the ACT Companion Dog Club (bring or Post to the club )

Current Fees

There is a joining fee (once off for continual membership) - if your membership lapses for more than 6 months then the joining fee will again apply. Each year there is an annual subscription for each family and an annual training fee for each dog brought to classes. A fee also applies if you just want access to the grounds to exercise your dog.
Subscriptions are renewable every 12 months starting from the month you first joined (i.e. if you joined in February 2009, your membership will be due again in February 2010).

• Annual Subscription (per household) $70.00
• Grounds Only (per household) $40.00
• Obedience Training (per dog) $40.00
• Flyball Training (per dog) $40.00
• Agility Training (per dog) $50.00
  

Note: these fees cover you for a full year of classes. For example, to enrol one dog for Obedience as a new member would cost you $150.00 for your first year ($40 + $70 + $40). A year consists of 5 terms of 8 weeks (40 classes) so that represents a very reasonable $3.75 a class!
