- Funding is of course much needed and always welcome:
- It covers the costs of administration, local travel for parents with their babies and handlers with their puppies,
development of materials for students, purchase of resources (books,videos)and filming and editing of video records.
- We also welcome contribution of resources and skills such as: microphones, video taping, digital video editing and photography.
- Teachers:
- Can enquire about running the program at their school to help students develop empathy and other social skills.
- Parents:
- Can speak to their school if they think their children and other students would benefit from this program.
- Mothers-to-be can participate in the program with their new baby.
- Dog owners planning on getting a puppy:
- Can participate in the program with a puppy.
- Community groups:
- Can support the program financially, or help promote the program.
- Can suggest ways of linking the program to other community groups, activities and programs.
- Local businesses:
- Can support the program financially, or contribute some of the resources we need.
- Can give input into topics and areas which you would like the program to incorporate.
